Junior Witter set to return

Junior Witter looks set to fight for the European Light welterweight title held by Italian Gianluca Branco.

The European Boxing Union has set today as the deadline for agreement or purse bids between the Italian and Witter's promoter, Mick Hennessy.

If Hennessy is succesful then the fight could be on the undercard to the WBC super middleweight world title soon to be contested between Carl Froch and Canadian Jean Pascal, which is anticipated to take place on Saturday November 1st.
